With a lower geared trans a truck will have a lower top speed but it will have better acceleration. Everyone seems to notice that the MAN and the Scania both accelerate better than the Volvo, when you use the speed unlimiter it now becomes noticeable that the Volvo has the higher top speed, this is the reason.
The GTX 980 runs everything at max settings 1080P. 60Hz. Exceptions, scaling I use 200%. As there is a known SSAO issue with patterning on truck hoods I can turn it down to minimise this issue, but the GTX 980 will happily run everything except graphics scaling at maximum settings. The game engine is old with recent update it made it a lot better and if you are struggling to maintain a playable frames on 400% scaling @1080p try 125% or 150% and set anti aliasing to max this should at least make the image quality less blurry while maintaining the sharpness.
