I saw the stats (and truthfully the aesthetic look) and bought the 45/70 T to use as a sniper/hunting rifle. It is bad at both of those and is terrible in close quarters combat. It is useless for stealth cause it is just as loud as any other rifles and doesn't one shot making the bows, melee weapons, or suppressed pistols a better option.

LT to bring up the scope and click in on the RS to toggle zoom levels. It works for me. While holding LT I click the right stick to toggle between zoom 1 and zoom 2. From what I remember the zoom really isn't that much of a difference.
