The bad: Europa Universalis IV, one of the greatest games ever (HALL OF FAME TYPE OF GAME) is on its last legs (i will cry when that day comes) Bittersweet feeling, mixed emotions. I am sure Johan will cry when the development for EU 4 ends. He has given everything for this title. P.S. I will say it again. Devs, please, GO BALLS OUT IN EU 5.
Europa Universalis IV. This is part 2 of the Ottomans made Easy EU4 guide. The first part of this guide covers starting moves and the first 15 years, as you deal with the Anatolian beyliks of Candar and Karaman, the remainder of the Byzantines, Greece, and part of Serbia. This part is for those players who are wondering which moves to make next.

Just go to the game directory, find the \common folder, and open up the defines.lua file. Change the end-date to whatever you want. Naturally, the game won't be exactly fully fledged past the actual end date of 1821 (No historical events and such), but everything will proceed forward as normal if you want.

It’s time for Paradox to announce Europa Universalis 5! In the wake of paradoxcon and no new game announcements. We revisit why paradox need to announce EU5
If all you knew of this game was how it is today with all the DLC, that's how you'd learn it. The stepping up of complexity would be irrelevant to you, you'd judge it as a single piece. As is, I don't think this game is too complicated for a lot of people, no. Last edited by Pwnyboy-Curtis ; Oct 12, 2016 @ 8:47am. #14.
Thanks for the reply. Lategame eu4 is pretty sick actually. You just gotta get there from the 1444 start date. Is the end date like in HOI 4 or does the game literally end at that point and you are not able to play any longer. You can still playing in Normal but it won't appear Institutions, special events, etc.
