Canon 5D Mark II vs Canon 5D Mark III: How Does it Compare? The Mark III, released 4 years after the Mark II , features an upgraded sensor, ISO up to 25600, and a 61-point wide-area autofocus system (identical to the Canon EOS -1DX) supplemented with Canon's proprietary Intelligent Tracking and Recognition (iTR). Noteworthy Photography Feature #1: Autofocus Speed. The autofocus speed for the 1DX Mark III is incredibly impressive. If you’re coming from shooting with the Mark II, you’ll notice an improvement. If you’re used to shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV, the improvement is substantial. For example, whenever I shoot with prime lenses like the

Perfect! Technically, the 50MP works great. It's just as sharp pixel-to-pixel as my 5D Mk II, but now has more than twice as many of them. The Canon EOS 5DS and 5DS R are the world's best digital SLRs, replacing the old 5D Mark III of 2012. The 5D Mk III was the world's best DSLR, and now these new 5DS are the world's best.

Thank you for your response cale_kat, the 5d iii is not as robust as you are making it out to be. Its a great camera but the features are not mind blowing the 7d mark ii has superior FPS and focusing comperable to that of the 1dx the 5d iii is 3-6 FPS and the focusing is only slightly worse. The 7d mark ii also has a much more extensive lense
The 5D Mark IV is a prime example of this movement, with its much-needed upgrade to Wi-Fi transfer. Nikon cameras have carried built-in Wi-Fi in both their DSLR’s and point-and-shoots for several years now so Canon is definitely trying to make up for lost time with this recent enhancement, but Brian Worley of P4Pictures notifies us of a simple technique for those of us with certain EOS
I find that all my telephoto lenses with a specific camera benefit to some degree from microadjusting the autofocus. Currently, I am using two cameras - the Canon 5D Mark IV and the 1DX Mark II. I must individually microadjust focus for each lens and camera combination I use with autofocus to achieve sharply focused images consistently. 2WixI.
